An often ignored position, a good kicker can be the difference for your team. Have you ever lost a match-up by a few points? I have and I also made the mistake of not really researching my fantasy team’s kicker. A kick from 50 yards can be as much as five points in some leagues, five points along with a few extra points and your in a good place. Today, we’ll look at the top fantasy kickers you should be targeting in the draft to make sure your prepared to earn every point possible.

The 38 year old All-Pro kicker Dawson has finally left the Cleveland Browns. It took 13 seasons, but Dawson has moved on to a greener pasture, the . Dawson placed an astounding 94% of his attempts through the uprights and was perfect on his seven attempts from 50+yards out for the dreary Cleveland Browns last season. Dawson’s numbers will only increase with his chance to play for a contending team, like the explosive 49ers. Dawson is definitely a draftable kicker to be taken after the 12th round.

The Patriots score a lot and Gostkowski was an extra point machine last year (66), was the No. 1 fantasy kicker in 2012 and that, weighted with his solid field goal kicking, makes it hard to not want Gostkowski. Expect Gostkowski to join your squad after the 12th round.

AKA Legatron is a beast and that isn’t just because I’m a Rams fan. Check out the Ram’s special team group doing trick shots. In the video Zuerlein boots a 60 yard field goal so accurately he makes it into a basketball hoop……I’ll wait while that sinks in…..Zuerlein in his first year in the made seven field goals over 50 yards but his numbers lacked due to the Rams dull attack.
